The Morgan Hotel, Temple Bar
The project involved a fast-track refurbishment of 18 bedrooms in The Morgan Hotel, in temple Bar, Dublin. The main challenge of the project was to deliver the refurbishment in a short time, while the rest of the hotel was kept operational.

Fiorentina Restaurant
The restaurant is located on the corner of Paliament Street and Cork Hill, Dublin 2.
The interiors are a combination of traditional materials and dark colours with a twist of modern sophistication. The dark wood floors, banquette seatings, chestrfield leather bar front and gold decorations and wall paper interact with a modern backlit bar backdrop and metal and timber partitions.

Brasserie Le Pont
The brasserie is located in the heart of Dublin’s city centre on the courtyard level of a beautiful Georgian Building. It boasts a contemporary décor and offers spacious, atmospheric seating, cosy private snugs and seclusions, a stylish wine bar and an outdoor, heated terrace.

O'Connell Street Hostel
This hostel is on a landmark site at the upper end of O'Connell Street. The proposal was to retrofit the existing offices on the upper floors to accommodate 798 guests in 161 rooms, and to modify the existing ground floor space to accommodate a bar, residents lounge and large dining facilities. The building is to cater for backpackers and budget travellers but to a higher level of sophistication than is usually offered in this type of accommodation. The existing facades of the building are to be replaced with new external cladding, the O'Connell Street elevation is to be clad in stone and the Cathal Brugha Street elevation is to be clad in brick. A detailed elevational study was carried out on the entirety of O'Connell Street as part of the design research process. The hostel is designed to be highly sustainable and will have solar panels and use grey water for the toilets. The re-cladding of the building will achieve an ‘A’ Building Energy Rating.

Dunboyne Scout Den
We were asked to design an extension to an existing scout den, the scout group has grown rapidly and needed additional accommodation to cater for this demand. The design of the extension as well as providing additional accommodation is also to resolve a number of issues with regard to circulation and access with the existing layout. The new extension adds a new entrance area and vertical circulation. At ground floor the accommodation consist of kitchen dining facilities, a meeting room, disabled toilet and internal climbing wall room. The upper floor accommodates an office and large meeting room. The construction is simple but durable due to the tight budgetary constraints. The climbing wall is to be constructed in a steel portal frame and clad in fibre cement board, the rest of the exterior is brick and render. The project is due to commence in next year.
